S. Mark Gubb’s exhibition explores the nature of our very existence. Inspired by and taking it’s title from a line in the film, Wings of Desire, by Wim Wenders, the show offers us the opportunity to probe our ambitions, beliefs and values, by asking us to make choices as we navigate our way through the gallery.

The subjects for the artist’s work are drawn from the social and political culture he grew up in; an equal fascination with things he finds so great and so terrible about the world.
