Addressing themes of civilisation and visual identity, Illustrious Nation showcases new and recent work by the winner of the 2010 Graduate Award.

Arran Mackintosh studied Illustration at the University of Portsmouth and since graduating has gained recognition for his imaginative and innovative drawing-based digital and handmade work. In 2010 Arran’s painstakingly-produced The Scroll of Britain was highly commended in the Macmillan Prize for children’s books.
