Look About is a two-year mapping & collecting project led by Portsmouth based artist/geologist Jon Adams in response to the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad in the south east of England.

From the start of February will show Transmission, a screen-based work featuring film, animation & sound works inspired by Jon’s mapping of Cultural Olympiad events in the South East. Elements of Transmission and Jon’s Artefacts exhibition, shown at Artsway last year, will be presented at various partner venues around the south east until July 2012 including Chapel Arts, Southampton City Art Gallery, University of Portsmouth, Towner Art Gallery, Milton Keynes Gallery, Quay Arts, Stour Valley Arts, LV21, Pallant House & Winchester Discovery Centre. Transmission will also be shown at the British Geological Survey during the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
