Winner of the 2009 ARC award for an emerging fine artist, this show marks an ambitious departure from Laura’s usual photographic based practice. Trace features a sculptural installation, an exploration into the removal of geographical forms from their original, fixed context, and how they tread the line between representation and abstraction.

Laura graduated from UCA in Farnham in 2008 with a BA in Photography. She was the recipient of the MI 2 award (Prime Ministers Initiative Fund) in 2008 to make work at the NID (National Institute of Design) in Ahmedabad, India.
