Own a bit of aspex history…
Cornerhouse in Manchester – with thanks to Viewfinder General
aspex has been an independent gallery since since 1990 and we have been in our current home since 2006; during that time we have hosted a large number of successful exhibitions.
A number of our large exhibitions are accompanied by their own catalogue and after the exhibitions have finished the catalogues’ presence diminishes. Or so we thought. Here at aspex, we have recently uncovered a nice little treat (and just before Christmas too), the publisher of our catalogues Cornerhouse, have a number of guides for old exhibitions on sale on their website. The online shop provides the ideal opportunity to browse the selection from the comfort of your own home. Exhibition highlights available, include; Suki Chan’s Hundred Seas Rising, Roger Palmer’s Shanty, and Black Desert by Julian Grater.
Our nice little shop also stocks a wide selection of aspex catalogues readily available to purchase and will provide the ideal opportunity to combine a visit with visiting our exhibition, having a coffee and a slice of cake in the cafe, and browsing the range of books available.
