INTRO - archive Reading Lines Steve Harries 1 August - 2 September 2007 The subjects portrayed in these works are both skateboarders and some of London’s most iconic buildings. This project seeks to highlight the conflict between the skateboarder and the urban planner, which can in turn aid the development of multi-purpose architecture for vibrant and growing communities. Steve Harries graduated from Central Saint Martins School of Art in 1994. He is currently based in London, and in addition to self–generated projects works internationally as a photographer for advertising, editorial and design industries. Steve Harries is represented by East Photographic.  The Reading Lines catalogue has been designed, edited, and published with Richard Bull at Yacht Associates.  The project has been sponsored by Carhartt, and Cyclops Imaging Ltd.
