Home Ed Art Club 2025

Home Ed Art Club offers a glimpse into the imagination, ideas and creative perspectives of home-educated children in Portsmouth. Featuring a mix of expressive and collaborative works, the exhibition celebrates individuality, family, and the freedom to learn in your own way.

The works were developed through a series of developmental, hands-on art-making sessions delivered in June and July as part of Aspex Portsmouth’s Creative Engagement Programme. These sessions provided space for self-expression, skills-building, and connection, encouraging participants to reflect and respond to themes such as daily life, identity, community, and life beyond the traditional classroom.

The Home Ed Art Club is part of Aspex Portsmouth’s Creative Engagement Programme, which aims to support learning, spark imagination, bring joy, and nurture meaningful connections across our city’s communities through art.
