INFORMATION aspex was established in 1981 and during the last 26 years it has exhibited the work of over 1,000 emerging artists, many of whom are today internationally acclaimed, and has welcomed over 150,000 visitors. In December 2006 it relocated to the elegant Vulcan Building on Portsmouth's waterfront, a move which has enabled the gallery to provide improved facilities for its growing audience.
