We are delighted to announce the launch of the Aspex Patrons, a group of individuals and businesses who generously support and celebrate the work of the gallery, which has been providing creative and educational opportunities in Portsmouth since 1981.
For a donation of £1,000 a year an Aspex Patron will support the gallery, a registered educational charity, in delivering an ambitious and accessible programme of exhibitions, projects and workshops, supporting emerging artists and work with local communities.
Our learning programme works with over 6,000 people per year, providing activities for a broad range of ages and groups including families, schools, children with special educational needs and people with dementia.
Director of Aspex, Joanne Bushnell, said:
“This is a critical time for Aspex. We have just six weeks to raise £25,000 which will then be matched through Arts Council England’s Catalyst: Evolve programme. This means a donation made by our Patrons will go twice as far. This support would really help the gallery to flourish.”
